Physical Activity

Everyday activities such as gardening, vacuuming, washing, tidying can all be a good source of physical activity. In the following video, Physiotherapy student Calum describes how he keeps active around the home.

 
 
 

Try to set yourself a simple achievable challenge. For example when watching television why not stand up or walk around the room during the adverts? Small changes can make a big difference. Whatever you do you need to make sure that it is within your physical abilities.
